Hayabusa, series of Japanese spacecraft that explored asteroids. The first, Hayabusa, studied the asteroid Itokawa and returned a sample container of dust grains to Earth in 2010. The second, Hayabusa2, arrived at the asteroid Ryugu in June 2018 and returned to Earth with a sample from that asteroid in December 2020.
